Must-Have Android Geocaching Apps

Thanks to Darryl Wattenberg at http://www.CacheAManiacs.com/ for providing the information below!

Geocaching by Groundspeak Inc.

£6.99 / $9.99 / 8,99 €
Groundspeak's official Geocaching app is a great starter app being easy to use and providing more functionality for basic members than most of apps. This app makes spontaneous cache finds a breeze – provided you have a data connection. It also allows saving caches and pocket queries for offline use or just to reduce data requirement and improve loading speeds. Logs can be submitted live (with photos if desired) or as field notes (to be posted at later date). This app also supports trackables and the Geocaching Souvenirs. This is a great place to start.

c:geo is a popular app among Geocachers all over the globe. The app features live map updating (data connection required) with filtering of caches. You also have the option to load GPX files for offline use, on- or offline logging of geocaches and trackables. It's a free, powerful tool but does require some practice to use.
