Geocaching.com is the biggest and most-used geocaching site on the internet! Featuring over 2 million hidden geocaches and 5 million members, this listing site exceeds the number of caches on any other site by thousands. Arguably the best web design and layout of all cache listing sites, this is the key site for all cachers. Features the ability to use trackables and has many different types of caches.

OpenCaching.com

OpenCaching.com cache listing site provided by Garmin, with the aim to provide a geocaching site with no subscriptions, membership fees, or paid content. Geocaching.com's main rival - similar to Geocaching.com, it has a very sleek user interface, and a large network of users.

EarthCache.org

EarthCache.org is all about earth science and teaching people about the world they live in. These earth caches are located in unique and special areas and don't involve finding a container - it's all about the journey.

NaviCache.com

NaviCache.com is the second oldest cache listing site, with the majority of caches in European countries, particularly Germany. You are allowed to post and log caches on both this site and Geocaching.com together. This site has declined in popularity however with the introduction of more user friendly and advanced interface sites.

TerraCaching.com

TerraCaching.com is a cache listing site that focuses more on the quality of caches as opposed to the quantity - any cache that scores below 1.0 on their '"Measure of Cache Excellence' system is automatically archived. The harder the cache you find, the more points you get, giving an alternative system to the 'smiley' one of geocaching.com
